SSSTC is honored to receive the 15th TCSA Talent Development Leadership Award.
SSSTC (Solid State Storage Technology Corporation) already has over 25 years of history in the field of storage product. Leveraging its long standing global success in optical disc drive (ODD), SSSTC branched into the development of new applications for NAND Flash Solid State Drives (SSDs) in 2008 to cater to the growing demands in data storage. Today, it operates as a subsidiary of Japan's KIOXIA Group (formerly Toshiba Memory Company).
SSSTC's management team considers its employees as vital partners for growth and prioritizes employee development as one of the company's missions and visions. Between 2008-2013, through job rotation and OJT (On the Job Training), our R&D and manufacturing transitioned from ODD to SSD. Currently, 289 employees (accounting for 30% of the total workforce) who participated in the transition continue to serve the company. In the last three years, SSSTC has recruited and nurtured over 400 inexperienced new graduates, building a fresh force in KIOXIA's SSD R&D stronghold.
SSSTC endeavors to create an enriching employee experience using the three H's: Heart, Health, and Honor, aspiring to make the company "a second home" for employee. Our effort was recognized and we were awarded by HR Asia as the "Best Employer in Asia" in both 2021 and 2022. Through implementing policies that surpass legal requirements and organizing diverse events, SSSTC values workplace diversity, ensures to maintain a healthy work-life balance, derive satisfaction and joy from their jobs. For instance, SSSTC holds an annual "Mobile School," featuring outdoor or indoor activities such as hiking, charity runs, ball games, and puzzle-solving events, all designed to provide unique experiences and memories for their employees. In terms of talent development, SSSTC continually empowers its employees through various programs and strives for training excellence. In 2021, they particpated in the TTQS and received the national-level Silver Award for "Talent Development Quality System."
SSSTC will continuously maintain its focus on ESG (Environmental, Social, Governance) issues, consistently enhancing its core capabilities to contribute to a sustainable environment and exert a positive influence.
