Solid State Storage Technology Corporation's(SSSTC’s) ESG Sustainable Activity: Tree Planting and Beach Cleaning Event. We are committed to addressing global environmental conservation issues together with colleagues to plant trees and clean beaches. We aim to reduce carbon emissions, safeguard the green future, and create sustainable ecosystems. This initiative aligns with the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals SDG 13, focusing on climate action to mitigate the climate change; and SDG 14, conserving and sustainably using the marine ecosystems.
To respond to international sustainability efforts and protect Taiwan's beautiful coastline, SSSTC initiated a Green Reforestation Project. On March 15, 2024, approximately 50 employees planted 100 saplings along the Jiaobao coastline in Linkou. In addition to tree planting, a beach cleaning activity was conducted.
SSSTC obtained environmentally dedicated bags from the New Taipei City Environmental Protection Bureau specifically for collecting litter found along the coast. The collected waste was then transported to designated recycling centers for proper disposal. As much of this waste is plastic and not easily biodegradable in nature, SSSTC mobilized efforts to gather and recycle it, contributing to the restoration of clean and beautiful coastlines.
