SSSTC Volunteers at Rice Paddy in support of ESG Efforts

For a long time, the harvest of farmers has been determined by God. Often because of a natural disasters, farmers' year long hardwork are destroyed. Also, sometimes old age and labor shortage factor in and makes it necessary for everyone to help.

Employee Insights:
Employee S: There are some colleagues like me who grew up in the city and are relatively unfamiliar with farming experience, so I had this opportunity to experience weeding today and understand more deeply about the hardships of being a farmer.
Employee K: I used to listen to my wife's stories about which vegetable vendors she haggled with, but after today's weeding experience, I'm going to go home and tell my wife that she should not haggle with the vegetable vendors in the future.
Employee H: With our help in weeding, this sweet potato field will definitely be more fertile this year than in previous years.
Employee D: I used to help my family with farming when I was a child, and today I took the opportunity to revisit my old memories. Although today's experience was short, it did help me reacquaint myself with the concept of "Every grain of food comes from hard work".
Employee M: Today I just wanted to take pictures, but seeing everyone working hard to weed, I couldn't help but participate.

Farmers' harvest depends heavily on the weather. Today's event was also a blessing thanks to the good weather, right amount of sunshine and cool breeze, right amount of work. The farm owner happily led us in yoga to help ease off pain and fatigue after the hardwork.

At the end of the event, the farmer also promoted the sweet potato harvest event at the end of the year, hoping SSSTC employees will follow the YOGA Form fan page to partake.
